art questions; brands, opinions, what have you

i’m just kinda curious, what do you use for lineart when working traditionally? i’ve always used microns but i’ve heard that a lot of people don’t like them, and i don’t really have much experience with any other brand, and their tips do kind of suck. i’ve used all sorts of tip widths and i’m not super pleased with them. 9_9 i also don’t want something super expensive, i’m a brokeass and when it comes to buying stuff i kind of cheap out because i can’t afford things.

aaaannnddd opinions on prismas/copics, just cos i’m curious, and does anyone know where to buy sets for moderately cheap? i’m scared for when my markers will eventually dry out ;__; (for the record i use prismacolours mostly, but i do have a few copics here and there and i really like them and wish they weren’t so fuckin expensiveeeeee!

are there any other marker brands anyone uses that are good? i’ve heard of like trielles(??? spelling? i’m going off of memory here, i’ve never seen them in stores here but i have seen them online for fairly cheap) or leplumes but i’ve never used them either. I will always stand by the fact that guns dont kill people. People kill people. That dude made the choice to get fully decked out and bring his firearms into a theater full of people and open fire on his own free will, not because he owned an assault rifle, shotgun and a set of handguns. 

exactly why everyone should be able to carry a concealed weapon, and only fire it if necessary, and only if you’ve had the proper training to do so. maybe if someone else had a gun on them, so many wouldn’t have died.

i don’t really care about obesity in humans; i mean, yes, it is a health risk and stuff but ultimately it’s still a type of eating disorder and i don’t really support making fun of fat people or anything because like??? calm down ya’ll

on the other hand, seeing obese animals makes me this weird frothy mix of angry/sad. because animals depend on you??? like. you’re in charge here, you give them the food, you’re in charge of their health, and i do think that yes, there is a healthy weight and it’s really great to give your animals a little bit extra high-nutrition food! some animals weigh more naturally because they’re not activity inclined (which is why enrichment for housecats is a big thing; they dont play as much when theyre older but they usually stay around the same weight when older anyway)

but when you overfeed an animal, or feed it unhealthy food, it’s like… it’s your fault and yeah your dog might love steaks but you need to balance their food and ughhh i dunno. animals don’t get conscientious of weight and their first instinct is “i am going to eat food when available because who knows when ill get it otherwise”

so yeah you’re responsible for your pets health so dont think its fatshaming to ask you to put your corgi on a diet bc seriously dogs can get arthritic joints in their legs from being overweight and ugh i dunno, chubby animals are cute yeah but overweight animals can and will lead to medical problems

and also dogs can have hyperthyroidism which makes them a little bit heavy bc of glandular issues and there are other medical problems that can lead to weight gain but you should try to keep animals within a  healthy range

this this a hundred times this, ok like yeah when i see a fat animal my initial reaction is AWWW ITS SO CHUNKY *squish* but immediately after i cant help but feel fuckin bad for these dogs who can barely stand or walk just because theyre too fuckin enormous to support themselves. i washed a golden retriever today that could seriously be used as a table to eat off of, just… be careful about what you’re feeding your animals and you will be able to enjoy your time with them more

i can run but because my spine isn’t exactly aligned right/i have problems w/my sacrum and ilium, it takes a lot out of me to do sprints/hurdles/etc.
